This console display
chest of drawers was
built using windows
from the early 1900's.
The glass knobs on the
six drawers and two
cabinet doors have
1858 stamped on them
which compliment the age of the windows used in
the construction. The two deer head knobs at the
bottom add a decorative touch to the character.
The legs were cut out of an old twin size head and
foot board.
The top of the chest has been finished to
compliment the weathered cracked effect that time
has developed on the wood construction of the
windows and the reclaimed wood used to build the
accent cabinet.
This piece was a challenging build, I still have more
windows from the same house, and I plan to build
another chest similar to this one.
