Door refinished Vinatge Modern

We are currently refinishing every door in our house. This door is from the hallway to master bedroom. The sanding off of the paint wasn't so bad on the outer boards (the stile and the rails) However the inner wood (panels) were nearly impossible to sand off about seven layers of paint. So I cut out some luan plywood for new painted center panels. I then cut out some trim and stained it with expresso for a vintage modern Echo and Ben finish.

Bahama coastal style door. We needed a vented door for proper airflow when closed. We started out with an old painted sliding door. Sanded some paint off. Because its was a sliding door, I had to cut out for door knob mechanisms. And we just went artsy with salmon and turquoise pant and some early American stain.

Front Doors Refinished

I was asked to refinish some beautiful mahogany front doors on a home in Long Beach, MS. The finish had cracked and worn down to the bare wood at the bottom and was near non- existence on the top. After sanding down the doors, the wood was so beautiful, the client decided to just keep the light color that had developed over the past eight years of weather and sunlight.
